Our ChallengeAs a Performance Tester, your challenge is to ensure enterprise applications deliver exceptional speed, scalability, stability, and reliability under varying workloads. You will leverage LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SQL, Splunk, and Cloud Technologies to design and execute performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements. Your expertise will help organizations deliver high-quality digital experiences while maintaining optimal system performance across business-critical applicationsAdditional InformationThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90K - $100K/year & benefits (see below).Job Description:Must have strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering of enterprise applications.Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, BlazeMeter, or Gatling.Strong knowledge of Load, Stress, Spike, Volume, Endurance, and Scalability Testing.Experience creating and maintaining performance test scripts and test scenarios.Strong understanding of Web Applications, APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.Experience using monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or ELK Stack.Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing database performance and query behavior.Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Knowledge of application, server, memory, CPU, and network performance metrics.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.Ability to interpret performance results and provide optimization recommendations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience creating performance reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.Banking and Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing to evaluate application behavior under different workload conditions.Analyze performance test results and identify application, infrastructure, database, and network bottlenecks.Monitor application performance metrics using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or equivalent monitoring solutions.Collaborate with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve performance issues.Perform root cause analysis and recommend tuning opportunities for improved system efficiency.Create realistic workload models and test scenarios based on business requirements and production usage patterns.Validate application scalability and stability to ensure readiness for production deployment.Execute database performance analysis including query optimization and resource utilization reviews.Prepare detailed performance reports and dashboards highlighting test outcomes, bottlenecks, and recommendations.Support performance testing automation initiatives and integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.Participate in Agile ceremonies and project planning activities including sprint reviews and estimations.Work closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to validate system performance in cloud environments.Ensure compliance with performance testing standards and best practices across projects.Document test plans, scripts, execution results, and performance findings for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.Continuously evaluate emerging performance testing tools and methodologies to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
