Key Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at checkout.
• Handle cash and digital payments, maintaining precise transaction records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving billing issues.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized to improve customer experience.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking merchandise flow and stock levels.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve skills and product knowledge.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Basic numerical skills and experience handling cash.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail team environment.
• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.

At PET CITY Pet Shop, you will report directly to the Store Manager and collaborate closely with other team members, fostering a supportive and energetic workplace culture. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kātpādi, Tamil Nadu.

Salary: ₹9000 per month
