A day in the life of a pet sitter:

Care for pets and client’s homes, typically within a 7-mile radius from your home
Feed, water, play, and occasionally medicate pets.
Scoop litter and clean up any potty accidents or hairballs.
Get your daily steps in the best way by walking dogs, or even possibly a cat.
Do house checks for clients without pets, including retrieving mail, watering plants, etc.
Maintain client and pet records via our on-line software.
Communicate with our office staff, other sitters, and clients throughout the day via phone, text and email.

Requirements:

Have experience and LOVE animals of all shapes and sizes.
Live in or near the areas we service.
At least 21 years old, and agree to a criminal background check.
Are dependable, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
Capable of walking/handling various breeds/sizes of dogs, cats, and other pets.
Have 24/7 access to a reliable car, hold a valid driver’s license, and have proof of current auto insurance.
Must have and be able to navigate a smartphone by using apps, texting, and email.
Compensation & Purrrks:

$18 - $20 + per hour, including drive time, plus gratuities (on average).
PTO (paid time off) available for all staff.
