PHP Lead – Enterprise Applications in San Jose, CA

Marga Consulting is seeking a skilled PHP Lead to join our Enterprise Applications team in San Jose, CA . This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead a talented development team and drive innovative enterprise-level PHP application projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor developers to enhance skills and team performance. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using PHP frameworks like Laravel and Symfony. Implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable software solutions. Integrate application security best practices throughout development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of PHP development experience, including 2+ years in a lead role. Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with application security and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Industry certifications and agile methodology experience are a plus.
