Job description
About the role
Elevationathletics is looking for a pickleball coordinator to coordinate league play and support players with instruction and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Coordinate league play.
- Develop and implement skill fundamentals.
- Provide instruction and feedback.
- Ensure players’ safety during sessions and matches.
Requirements
- Previous youth or adult coaching experience.
- Strong understanding of techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and patience.
- Reliable transportation to commute to various locations and activities according to game and league schedules, and the ability to transport equipment needed for activities.
- First Aid is preferred and required upon hiring.
- A Vulnerable Sector Background Check is required upon hiring.
Coaching certification and previous coaching experience are preferred. Experienced people in these sports are preferred, but training is available for people with an interest or willingness to learn.
