Job description
Earn up to $15 per hour collecting trash and recycling from apartment communities. This part-time, on-site role serves Hitchcock-area locations, including League City, Texas City, Kemah, and Galveston. With more than 700 locations, placement may be available about 10–15 minutes from home.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect trash and recycling door to door within assigned apartment communities.
- Transport collected items in an open-bed pickup truck and dispose of them at the community dumpster or compactor.
- Walk approximately 3 miles per shift, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work outdoors in Houston-area weather while following safety practices.
Schedule
- Part-time work, approximately 10–15 hours per week.
- Night shifts are available seven days a week.
- Start times may be as early as 7 p.m. on Sundays and 8 p.m. on weekdays, depending on location.
Qualifications
- Open-bed pickup truck for transporting collected items. Some locations do not require a truck; ask about Helper positions.
- Valid driver's license.
- Smartphone with a data plan.
- Ability to walk distances, climb stairs, and lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
