Pipeline Engineer

WTS Energy is recruiting a Pipeline Engineer to support a key offshore development project in Mexico, contributing to the engineering, design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea pipeline systems.
This role will provide technical expertise throughout the engineering lifecycle of offshore pipeline systems, ensuring technical integrity, compliance with international standards, and successful project delivery while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and engineering contractors.
Requirements
Provide technical support for the engineering and design of offshore subsea pipeline systems.Participate in Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, and Commissioning activities.Review contractor engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.Support technical reviews, engineering queries, and design deviations throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain and update technical documentation and project engineering records.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Subsurface, Operations, Drilling & Wells, HSE, Regulatory, and Commercial disciplines.Support project reporting, technical presentations, and engineering coordination activities.Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in offshore subsea pipeline engineering.Strong experience in pipeline design, integrity management, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea pipeline systems.Knowledge of international pipeline engineering standards and offshore engineering best practices.Experience working with EPC contractors, engineering consultancies, or offshore operators.Knowledge of Gulf of Mexico offshore developments and Mexican regulatory requirements is considered an advantage.Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.Strong communication, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
