About the role
Houston Jobs is seeking a Plasma Cutter to cut and prepare metal materials using plasma cutting equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate plasma cutting equipment to cut and prepare metal materials.
- Read basic drawings, measurements, and work orders.
- Set up and adjust equipment for accurate cuts.
- Inspect cuts and perform grinding or cleaning as needed.
- Assist welders, pipefitters, and other trades.
- Follow all safety and PPE requirements.
Requirements
- Plasma cutting experience preferred.
- Experience with carbon steel and industrial materials.
- Ability to read measurements and basic drawings.
