Job description
Chanel is seeking a dedicated Pool Maintenance Technician to join our seasonal team in Niagara, Ontario, Canada. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and optimal operation of residential and commercial pool facilities, ensuring an excellent experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of pool systems and equipment to guarantee safe and efficient operation.
- Perform cleaning, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance on swimming pools.
- Monitor and treat water quality using appropriate chemicals to maintain optimal pool conditions.
- Identify equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical levels, and equipment status.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules and service updates.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in training new technicians as needed.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in maintenance and equipment handling.
- Strong time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of pool safety regulations and best practices is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as Pool Operator Certification are a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar maintenance role preferred.
