Job description
Chanel is hiring a seasonal Pool Maintenance Technician in Niagara, Ontario, Canada. Join a supportive team and help maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning residential and commercial swimming pools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect pool systems and equipment to confirm safe, efficient operation.
- Clean pools and complete routine maintenance and chemical balancing.
- Monitor water quality and apply appropriate treatments to maintain safe conditions.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Record maintenance work, chemical levels, and equipment status accurately.
- Communicate service schedules and updates to clients.
- Collaborate with technicians and assist with training new team members as needed.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
- Maintenance and equipment-handling experience is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of pool safety regulations and practices is an advantage.
- Pool Operator Certification or another relevant industry certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as required.
Schedule and Team
This is a seasonal, on-site position reporting to the Operations Supervisor. You will work alongside skilled technicians to complete pool maintenance tasks efficiently and support a safe, positive experience for pool users.
