Postdoctoral Researcher – AI & IoT

About the role

The role focuses on IoT systems, intelligent connected devices, edge computing, sensing and AI-enabled systems, with opportunities to develop practical prototypes, applications and potential commercial opportunities.

Tasks

• Conduct applied research in AI and IoT.
• Research emerging IoT technologies, architectures and applications.
• Develop IoT prototypes and proof-of-concept systems.
• Work with sensors, connected devices, gateways and edge/cloud platforms.
• Explore AI/ML applications for IoT-generated data.
• Contribute to research papers and technical reports.
• Explore technology development and commercialization opportunities.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers and industry professionals.

Requirements

• PhD or final-year PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IoT, Robotics, AI/ML, Embedded Systems or a related STEM field.
• Strong IoT expertise and working knowledge of AI are encouraged.
