Power BI Admin

About the role

Join our client in Dallas, TX to administer, manage and optimize Power BI infrastructure and drive enterprise analytics success.

Tasks

• Administer Power BI tenant, workspaces, capacities, access controls, and governance policies
• Manage On-Premises Data Gateway setup, clustering, monitoring, and incident resolution
• Support data connectivity and refresh across Folder, SQL Server, Snowflake, and SharePoint sources
• Implement automation using Azure Service Principal, Power BI REST APIs, PowerShell, and Azure Automation
• Manage Org App and Workspace App publishing, audience permissions, versioning, and rollout communication
• Enforce security standards including RBAC, RLS, sensitivity labels, and audit compliance
• Support deployment pipelines/CI-CD and maintain operational runbooks and SOPs
• Install, upgrade and patch On-Premises Gateway
• Install, upgrade and test Power BI Desktop on enterprise windows machines
• Maintain high refresh success rate of all reports across tenant
• Reduce manual admin tasks through automation

Requirements

• 10–12 Years experience
• Valid US Driver's License
• USC / GC / GC EAD / H1B / H4 EAD

• $54/hour (USD)
