✅Must Have
- Deep expertise in privacy/security concepts, trends, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience researching/applying privacy laws, regulations, jurisprudence (IPC Ontario), and risk countermeasures.
- Familiarity with OPS Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processes and tools.
- Strong cross-disciplinary background in IT security, system design, business architecture, legal, FOI, risk, and project management.
- Sharp analytical skills to evaluate access/privacy impacts of policies and business initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of IT concepts, system interfaces, architecture, security, and data flows affecting personal data protection.

🔹Knowledge of, and experience with the policies and procedures of the Ontario government.
⭐General and Desirable Skills
🔹Privacy & Legislation Expertise: Proven track record conducting public sector PIAs; deep knowledge of FIPPA, MFIPPA, PHIPA, PIPEDA, and US PATRIOT Act.
🔹Policy & Process: Expertise in OPS PIA tools and risk management across IT security, policy, business analysis, and project management.
🔹Operational & Systems Design: Ability to lead/manage PIAs, create/read data flow diagrams and business process models, and collaborate with external experts.
🔹Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex privacy requirements to technical, business, and executive audiences.
🔹Record Keeping: Hands-on experience with risk assessment tools, record management standards (classification/retention), and AODA compliance.
