Pro Shop Associate

Tasks

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner, over the phone and in person.
• Answer fishing and hunting related questions and provide professional advice related to product information, technical features and methods of operation.
• Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need.
• Direct customers to where to find information on the laws, regulations and safety guidelines of fishing and hunting in the area.
• Remain a product expert through continuously learning about new products, new trends, emerging technologies.
• Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.).
• Perform hole checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Network and maintain relationships with vendors and local community fishing and hunting organizations.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
