Procurement Coordinator in Barranquilla, Colombia

The Procurement Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the procurement process within the organization. This full-time position is based in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia, offering a competitive compensation structure of COP 6,000,000 per month. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate existing ones.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, tracking orders and deliveries.
• Collaborate with various departments to forecast needs and manage inventory levels.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise during the contracting process.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficient in English (C1 level).

The Procurement Coordinator will work closely with other departments, facilitating communications between teams to ensure alignment on procurement needs and strategies. This position reports to the Procurement Manager and collaborates cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other relevant departments.
