Job description
Swarup Bag is seeking a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist I for a contract position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, you will support sourcing and procurement operations, strengthen vendor relationships, and help improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This is an on-site position within a collaborative, medium-sized company.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement data to support purchasing decisions and supplier selection.
- Build and maintain procurement reports and dashboards using Excel.
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor compliance with contract terms and performance standards.
- Support sourcing strategies to identify, assess, and qualify suppliers.
- Assist with vendor negotiations involving pricing and contract terms.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, project management, and other teams to align purchasing activities with organizational goals.
- Monitor inventory and forecast requirements to help maintain appropriate supply levels.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems and vendor management practices.
- Zero to two years of procurement or supply chain experience preferred.
