Procurement Specialist - Remote Opportunity in the United States

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in procuring goods and services by negotiating with suppliers and obtaining competitive quotes.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and relevant data to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to assess purchasing needs and provide timely solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and monitor shipment schedules.
• Review purchasing requests to ensure compliance with company policies and budget limits.
• Generate purchase orders and follow up on outstanding orders to minimize delays.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and their offerings.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills for effective supplier and team interaction.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy throughout procurement processes.
• Previous experience in a similar procurement role is preferred but not mandatory.
