Procurement Specialist - Remote Opportunity in the United States

Hex company is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This full-time, remote-eligible position based in the United States plays a critical role in sourcing and managing procurement activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation expertise and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize the acquisition of goods and services.
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Manage relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee the timely delivery of products.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities and present findings to management.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with procurement software and tools is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.

The Procurement Specialist will work closely with various teams, including finance and operations, to ensure seamless procurement processes and achieve strategic objectives. This role reports directly to the Procurement Manager and involves collaboration across departments to align on purchasing needs. The Procurement Specialist will regularly interact with suppliers and internal clients to ensure expectations are met.

Compensation: $40 per hour
