Product Manager – Conversational AI (GenAI)

🚀 We're Hiring: Product Manager – Conversational AI (GenAI)
📍 Location: New York City, NY
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday through Thursday
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong Conversational AI / GenAI experience to lead AI-powered voice and chat experiences from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Own Conversational AI product workstreams from discovery to launch.
Map customer journeys and design conversation flows, dialogue, intents, and prompts.
Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and conversation designers to build and optimize AI agents.
Develop and execute AI evaluation strategies, including golden test sets, edge-case testing, adversarial testing, and regression checks.
Analyze conversation transcripts and improve agent accuracy, safety, tone, and response latency.
Define human handoff workflows and ensure seamless user experiences.
Manage product priorities, delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, and documentation.
🔹 Required Skills
7+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in Product Management or a related role.
Strong hands-on understanding of Conversational AI, AI agents, and GenAI products.
Experience with dialogue design, intent taxonomies, retrieval/grounding, and agent frameworks.
Experience building and running AI evaluations for conversation quality and safety.
Proven ownership of products or workstreams from discovery through launch.
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
Voice AI experience, including speech recognition, text-to-speech, turn-taking, and latency.
GenAI platforms, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
Healthcare or regulated-industry experience, including HIPAA/PHI.
Vendor or platform partner management.
Agile, Jira, Confluence, or Figma experience.
