Job description
A manufacturer of metal enclosures, racks, cabinets, and accessories is seeking a responsible Production Foreman to lead its fabrication floor in Pennsauken, New Jersey. This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced metal fabrication professional.
Responsibilities
- Supervise shift employees and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule requirements.
- Train and motivate employees to achieve production goals.
- Communicate and apply company policies, work rules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with related departments to resolve design issues identified during production.
- Recommend production and process improvements.
- Participate in interviews and the hiring process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in metal fabrication processes.
- Broad knowledge of shearing, CNC punch presses, CNC press brakes, and MIG/TIG welding.
- Knowledge of wet spray and powder coating systems, including pre-paint cleaning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate production employees.
