About the roleTeach IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Psychology, supporting our students in their learning and preparation for internal and external assessments with a rigorous, ethical, and critical-thinking-driven approach.
Key responsibilitiesTeaching and planningTeach IBDP Psychology in line with the current subject guide.Design units and lesson plans that integrate the biological, cognitive, and sociocultural approaches to behaviour, as well as the course options.Develop active learning experiences that foster inquiry, scientific rigour, and critical analysis.Assessment and IB preparationGuide and supervise the Internal Assessment, supporting each student through their study.Prepare students for external assessments based on official IB criteria and rubrics.Apply ongoing assessment, timely feedback, and individual progress monitoring.Development of the IB profile and thinking skillsStrengthen research skills, data analysis, and ethical reasoning.Promote international-mindedness and the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.Student support and wellbeingClosely monitor students' academic and social-emotional development.Collaboration and professional developmentTake part in ongoing IB training and the institution's professional development.Maintain timely, professional communication with families.
