Bilingual Typist & Translator – Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Opeka is hiring a full-time Professional Bilingual Typist, Translator & Document Preparation Specialist in Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán Department, Honduras. This role is eligible for remote work and supports clear, accurate communication for English- and Spanish-speaking clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Type documents quickly and accurately while following required formats and standards.
• Translate documents between English and Spanish while preserving context, meaning, and tone.
• Edit and proofread documents for grammar, punctuation, consistency, and style.
• Respond professionally to client questions about translation and document preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
• Organize translated files and maintain secure electronic backups.
• Review workflows and recommend improvements to efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail in editing and proofreading.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Professional translation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with common typing and document preparation software.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: 4000 per month.
• Employment: Full-time.
• Location: Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán Department, Honduras; remote eligible.
