Bilingual Typist & Translator – Caracas, Venezuela

Opeka is hiring a full-time Professional Bilingual Typist, Translator & Document Preparation Specialist in Caracas, Distrito Federal, Venezuela. This role is remote eligible and focuses on accurate document preparation, English-Spanish translation, editing, and client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Type business documents quickly and accurately.
• Translate documents between English and Spanish while preserving meaning and context.
• Edit and proofread materials for clarity, grammar, and quality.
• Format documents to meet client specifications and guidelines.
• Respond professionally to client questions and documentation requests.
• Coordinate with colleagues to complete projects on time.
• Organize document files and maintain appropriate retention practices.

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong typing, editing, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience in customer service and document preparation.
• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Team and Work Environment

You will report to the Operations Manager and work with office staff and clients to meet project requirements. Opeka offers a collaborative environment where accuracy, communication, and dependable teamwork are valued.

Compensation and Schedule

Compensation is 4,000 per month. This is a full-time position in Caracas, Venezuela, with remote eligibility.
