Project Civil Engineer Construction

About the Role The Construction Project Engineer owns the job site from mobilization to closeout. You'll lead field crews, manage subcontractors, and serve as the primary link between the owner, architect, and field team across healthcare, commercial, and institutional projects.
What You'll DoSupervise field crews (20+ personnel) and subcontractors dailyDevelop and maintain project schedules; ensure milestone adherenceLead project meetings with owners, architects, and engineersManage payroll tracking, daily logs, RFIs, and submittalsPerform quantity take-offs and cost estimates for scopes and change ordersEnforce quality standards and ensure OSHA compliance on site
What We're Looking For2+ years of hands-on construction project management or field engineering experienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalentAbility to read and interpret full construction drawingsValid driver's license; willing to travel across Puerto RicoAvailable for early starts (6:00 AM), extended days, and SaturdaysStrong leadership and professional communication skills
Bonus PointsExperience in healthcare construction (hospitals, dialysis centers, medical offices)PMP certification or equivalentFamiliarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or AI productivity tools
