Your new company:An award winning, commercial general contractor based in Fairfax County, VA are looking to hire a Construction Project Manager to join their organization in August. This Project Manager will lead the development of a new build Senior Living Facility in Fairfax County. This a permanent, full-time career position, appealing to a Project Manager who wants to have the accountability and ownership of leading a project, and are driven to become a Senior Project Manager in the next 1-2 years. Your new role:You will be office-based working alongside an established and successful field and project management. You will be reporting into a Project Executive, with the aim of you being promoted to a Senior Project Manager in 2-3 years depending on your ability to scale up on the volume and leadership of juniors.
You will be leading a $50M+ new construction Senior Living Facility based in Fairfax County. You will be responsible for running the project management program, working closely with the field management team. Project budget and financial tracking, scheduling, construction documentation, quality control and client POC will all fall under your/PM teams’ responsibility. This GC have a separate preconstruction and estimating team that will support you and this role would report into a Project Executive.
What you need to succeed:8+ years of Construction experience working for a commercial construction general contractor demonstrating progressive growth in responsibilities.Commercial Construction ground-up / new build experience, open to any market sector of experience within the commercial sector.A construction related degree such as engineering, architecture or construction management is desired but not essential.On-site position in the company HQ in Northern Virginia 5 days a week. Flexible work hours available.
