About the role

Hays is recruiting for an award-winning construction company with offices in Miami and projects throughout South Florida. The company specializes in high-end apartments, custom homes, ground-up construction and renovations, with projects valued at 10M -200M. Reporting to the owner / president, you will represent the client and lead the project lifecycle through construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client representative and main point of contact, managing expectations and fostering trust.
• Oversee contracts, budgets, schedules and quality standards from planning through completion.
• Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, design teams and project stakeholders.
• Review planning, site investigation, design, construction and contract administration documentation.
• Manage RFIs, change orders and other project documentation.
• Attend project meetings, document minutes and track issues for timely resolution.
• Improve RFI workflows, change management and scheduling processes.
• Lead and mentor project teams to support alignment and performance.

Requirements

• B.S. in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or a related field, and/or related construction experience.
• 15-25 years or more of construction industry experience, preferably with a general contractor on luxury residential or high-end construction projects over 10M.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate work, with familiarity with the South Florida subcontractor and vendor market.
• Organization, time management, passion and communication skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or similar software.

Benefits

The package includes a base of up to $140,000 - 170,000, plus benefits, bonus, allowances and other perks.
