Project Manager – Release Management

About the role

The ideal candidate will lead technology releases, manage project timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams in a banking technology environment.

Tasks

• Lead end-to-end release planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Manage weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly release cycles.
• Develop release calendars, project plans, milestones, and deployment schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, QA, and Business teams.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and rollback plans.
• Conduct release readiness reviews and facilitate go/no-go decisions.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership.
• Ensure timely releases with minimal disruption to production.
• Support cloud deployments, migrations, and platform modernization initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong Project Management experience with a PM-focused approach.
• Release Management and deployment coordination experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong planning, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
