Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team in Manteca, California. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily purchasing operations, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and supplies. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with company goals. Conduct thorough market research and supplier evaluations to identify high-quality vendors. Facilitate effective negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and contract terms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and finance, to meet organizational requirements. Monitor supply chain performance by analyzing key metrics, identifying trends, and taking corrective actions when necessary. Train and mentor junior purchasing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Required and preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Proven skills in negotiation, analytical thinking, and effective communication. Experience with procurement software and ERP systems. Minimum of 5 years in purchasing or supply chain management, with a strong track record of success. Industry-standard certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are preferred.
