About the role
P and P Engineering Services is looking for two proactive Purchasing Officers who are eager to learn and grow with the team. Fresh graduates and candidates with or without experience are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Source, canvass and compare prices of materials, supplies and services.
- Request quotations and process purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing and availability.
- Monitor material deliveries and ensure on-time supply.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
- Assist in inventory monitoring and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Preferably a graduate of any four-year course, such as Business, Engineering or a related course.
- Willingness to learn and eagerness to grow.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience is not required.
