PWD Retired Officer Job in Sāngli, Maharashtra

Position: PWD Retired Officer Company: Balkrishna Consultants Location: Sāngli, Maharashtra, India Job Responsibilities: Project Monitoring & Site Coordination: Supervise construction and maintenance work adhering to PWD standards. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site workers to ensure timely completion as per drawings and specifications. Quality Control: Inspect materials such as cement, sand, metal, concrete, and tiles. Ensure proper testing and compliance with PWD norms. Report defects, delays, or non-compliance promptly. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports. Maintain measurement books (MB), site logs, and other documentation. Assist in preparing estimates, BOQs, and work orders. Site Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of construction, roadwork, buildings, and repair works. Verify work completion before billing and ensure safety protocols are followed. Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Communicate work schedules, material supply, and resolve site issues. Follow up to ensure timely task completion. Administrative Tasks: Support office paperwork, file management, and PWD documentation. Handle correspondence and approvals with higher officials. Assist in tender preparation and bidding processes. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all work complies with PWD rules, government guidelines, and safety regulations. Verify material and work quality meet approved standards.
