Job description
1. Project Monitoring & Site Coordination Supervise ongoing construction/maintenance work as per PWD standards. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site workers. Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and timeline. 2. Quality Control Check quality of materials like cement, sand, metal, concrete, tiles, etc. Ensure proper testing and compliance with PWD norms. Report any defects, delays, or non-compliance to seniors. 3. Documentation & Reporting Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports. Maintain measurement books (MB), site logs, and documentation. Support in preparing estimates, BOQs, and work orders. 4. Site Inspections Conduct routine inspections of construction, roadwork, buildings, or repair works. Verify work completion before billing. Ensure safety rules are followed at site. 5. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Communicate with contractors about work schedule, material supply, and issues. Assist in resolving site problems and technical queries. Follow up for timely completion of tasks. 6. Administrative Tasks Assist in office paperwork, file management, and PWD documentation. Handle correspondence, approvals, and communication with higher officials. Support tender preparation and bidding processes. 7. Compliance & Standards Ensure work follows PWD rules, government guidelines, and safety regulations. Verify that materials and work quality match approved standards
