QA Analyst

Tasks

• Review and improve Python code and data operations for integration with the STARLIMS laboratory information management system (LIMS).
• Ensure quality assurance standards, data traceability, and validation of laboratory test results.
• Review chemistry data packages and laboratory procedures for compliance with EPA, FDA, and other applicable standards.
• Validate Excel spreadsheets used for analytical calculations.
• Identify program issues and recommend improvements.
• Review chemical inventory systems and assess laboratory quality procedures.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance for an analytical, environmental, chemical laboratory, or related field.
• Familiarity with Python code review and data operations.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing procedures, and documentation.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS/STARLIMS is a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet validation and data accuracy.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
