QA Automation Engineer

About the role

TekisHub is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong Java and API automation experience for one of its clients in Toronto.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of API automation experience
• Must have valid authorization to work in Canada
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on API automation experience.
• Strong Java programming skills, including Collections, Streams, and exception handling.
• REST Assured experience covering response validation, authentication, status codes, and business rules.
• Selenium WebDriver experience, including dynamic elements, waits, and troubleshooting flaky tests.
• Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile testing.
• Appium experience with Android and/or iOS applications.
• CI/CD integration using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong debugging skills and an understanding of Agile testing practices.
• Candidates must be available for in-person first-round and final interviews in Toronto.
