Join a quality engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City as a QA Automation Engineer focused on system and integration testing for fraud microservices. This full-time, on-site role works with teams across Vietnam, India, and Australia to strengthen test automation and deliver reliable software.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain system test strategies, scenarios, and automated tests for fraud microservices.
- Implement and run system tests in CI/CD pipelines using Harness or Jenkins, integrated with NEF.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Create, maintain, and verify WireMock mocks and stubs for upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Collaborate with developers, quality engineers, and business analysts to validate system behavior and resolve integration issues.
- Analyze test results, logs, and metrics to identify root causes and trends.
- Maintain test cases, runbooks, and reports in alignment with platform standards.
- Share knowledge with team members and promote shift-left testing throughout development.
Required qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience as a quality engineer or automation engineer, preferably working with microservices.
- Hands-on experience with system or integration testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Java programming skills and strong familiarity with automation tools such as Java, TypeScript, Playwright, or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with WireMock, contract testing, or similar mocking and stubbing frameworks.
- Experience testing APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka, MQ, or REST.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Harness, and source control with Git.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across regions.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Amazon Q, AI-assisted test generation, or automated prompt execution.
- Experience with banking platforms.
