Job description
Job Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer based in Ho Chi Minh City to design and maintain system test strategies and automation for Fraud microservices. You will implement and execute system tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness and Jenkins integrated with NEF. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and create mocks/stubs with WireMock to simulate dependencies.
Collaborate closely with Developers, Quality Engineers, and Business Analysts to validate system behavior and resolve integration issues. Monitor and analyze system test execution results, logs, and metrics to identify root causes and trends. Maintain test artifacts including test cases, runbooks, and reports aligned with platform standards. Support knowledge sharing and promote shift-left testing strategies throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2–4 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Automation Engineer, preferably with microservice-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with System Test or Integration Test in CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in Java programming.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Java, TypeScript, Playwright, and REST Assured.
- Familiarity with WireMock, contract testing, or similar mock/stub frameworks.
- Experience with API and event-driven testing (Kafka, MQ, REST).
- Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Harness, and source control using Git.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-region teams in Vietnam, India, and Australia.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Amazon Q, AI-driven test generation, or automated prompt execution.
- Experience working on banking platforms.
