TekBricks is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer in Waxhaw, North Carolina to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This full-time role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium and TestNG
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements
- Ensure software applications meet both business and technical requirements
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team meetings
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing methodologies
- Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation tools
- Basic SQL skills for effective database testing
- Experience using JIRA or equivalent defect tracking systems
