Job description
TekBricks is hiring a full-time QA Engineer in Waxhaw, North Carolina. In this on-site role, you will test software applications, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to help deliver reliable, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated software testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements.
- Verify applications against business and technical requirements.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum meetings.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with manual and automation testing.
- Knowledge of Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation tools.
- Basic SQL skills for database testing.
- Experience with JIRA or another defect tracking tool.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
