Job description
CazVid is hiring a full-time QA Engineer with Codex experience in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. In this on-site role, you will help ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products while collaborating with a growing, cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to verify software quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects, partnering with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
- Design and implement testing strategies using Codex technologies.
- Participate in peer reviews and help improve QA processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, share feedback, and support high-quality releases.
- Create and maintain test plans, reports, and other testing documentation.
- Keep current with quality assurance trends and software testing best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience in software quality assurance is desired.
- Demonstrated software testing experience and a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with Codex and related technologies is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work Location and Compensation
This position is based in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, and is not remote eligible. The listed compensation is 400000 per year; the source posting does not specify a currency.
