Role: QA Automation EngineerLocation: Colombia (Remote)Employment Type: Contract with no benefits
Role OverviewWe are seeking QA Automation Engineers to develop and maintain automated testing solutions for digital banking applications. The ideal candidates have strong hands-on automation experience, particularly with Katalon, and exposure to testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test cases and scripts.Build and extend automated testing coverage using Katalon.Support web, mobile, and API test automation.Execute automated regression tests and analyze results.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with developers and QE leadership to identify testing needs early in the development cycle.Participate in test case design, impact analysis, and acceptance criteria reviews.Document defects, track quality issues, and support continuous improvement.
Required SkillsHands-on experience with QA automation and automated test development.Strong knowledge of Katalon.Experience with web automation using Playwright or Selenium.Familiarity with mobile automation tools such as Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso.Experience with API testing and regression automation.Knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines.Experience working within Agile software development teams.
