Job description
About the Role:
SOURCING AND PLACEMENT LTD is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Quality Assurance Engineer based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is critical in ensuring that manufacturing products meet stringent quality standards and customer expectations through thorough quality control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control stages throughout the production line and monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) daily.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with QC inspectors to maintain effective inspection procedures aligned with standards.
- Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve manufacturing defects, improving overall product quality.
- Lead root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Track quality yield rates, analyze trends, and implement corrective measures across manufacturing plants.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs related to quality, efficiency, and productivity, striving to meet defined goals.
- Partner with design teams to verify product designs are compatible with manufacturing processes.
- Manage and close 8D corrective actions, and lead updates for PFMEA and PMP reports.
- Support QC functions as part of a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering or quality assurance roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Proximity: Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of ZIP Code 76177, Fort Worth, TX.
