About the role
PSL - Pharmacy Supplies Limited is seeking an experienced Cold Chain Co-Ordinator to join the Quality team at its pharmaceutical warehouse in Draperstown. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for developing, implementing and managing a new pharmaceutical cold chain operation.
This opportunity is for someone with strong pharmaceutical cold chain experience who wants to build and lead a new operation rather than maintain an existing process.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Quality, Warehouse and Logistics teams to manage day-to-day quality, GMP and GDP oversight of cold chain medical products from procurement to supply.
- Ensure products are stored continuously within the required temperature range of 2°C-8°C and monitor transportation performance to maintain cold chain integrity throughout delivery to pharmacies.
- Manage the recovery and re-use procedure for cold chain products.
- Design and manage quality management system documentation that governs and controls cold chain distribution at Med.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- A degree in a life science discipline.
- Strong background and experience working with cold chain products.
- Strong understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and associated quality management systems.
- Excellent documentation and record management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Confidence in stakeholder interactions and the ability to communicate clearly.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across Quality, Warehouses, Logistics and all departments.
