About the role
Precision Custom Components, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor with NDE/NDT oversight in an SNT-TC-1A environment. The role plans, coordinates, and directs manufacturing quality activities within the Quality Department. It includes supervising and coordinating training for an hourly union workforce to meet quality, budget, and production standards for the assigned shift or area. Strong cross-shift communication supports consistent inspection policy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to hourly union personnel; assign work and ensure coverage for production priorities.
- Coordinate shift assignments according to contractual requirements, personnel qualifications, production schedules, and skill capabilities.
- Monitor performance and efficiency, address deficiencies, and promote accountability.
- Enforce company work rules and implement disciplinary action when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of department and shift activities.
- Coordinate NDE activities to support production. PCC methods include VT, MT, PT, UT, and RT.
- Coordinate dimensional inspection activities.
