Quality Manager | Automotive Industry (BIW/BIC)📍 Location: [Nuevo Leon] 🏭 Industry: Automotive ManufacturingAre you a quality-driven leader with experience in the automotive industry and a passion for building high-performing teams? We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance our BIW/BIC Quality organization, ensuring excellence across manufacturing operations, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership & StrategyLead and manage all quality activities within the BIW/BIC Business Unit.Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance strategies, standards, and compliance programs.Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-focused quality performance.Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry quality requirements.Quality Systems & Process ImprovementEstablish and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures.Identify quality risks, implement preventive actions, and provide recommendations for process improvement.Review and update quality manuals, procedures, and statistical process control programs.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to reduce quality issues and customer complaints.Audits & Customer QualityPrepare for and represent the company during customer, certification, and regulatory audits.Coordinate audits related to new product launches and engineering changes.Serve as the site's Quality Management Representative when required.Interface with customers, suppliers, dealers, and internal stakeholders regarding quality performance and compliance.Team Development & LeadershipLead, coach, mentor, and develop quality personnel.Define measurable objectives, training plans, and performance expectations for team members.Foster a collaborative, cross-functional culture focused on accountability and excellence.Provide regular status updates, feedback, and career development support to the team.Reporting & Performance ManagementPrepare and present quality metrics, performance reports, and customer-required documentation.Monitor KPIs and implement actions to achieve operational and quality targets.Drive sustainable problem-solving methodologies and permanent corrective actions.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive or Heavy Equipment industry, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.Strong experience in Body-in-White (BIW), Body-in-Color (BIC), Painting, Final Assembly, or related automotive manufacturing processes.Demonstrated experience leading quality systems, audits, customer quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.Proven expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.PreferredMaster's Degree.Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.Strong negotiation and influencing skills when working with senior leadership and customers.
