Job description
Knowledge Quran Centre is hiring a part-time Quran Education Specialist in Kingston upon Hull, England. Help students develop their Quranic recitation, memorization, and understanding of Islamic teachings in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach one-on-one and group lessons in Quranic recitation and memorization.
- Plan and deliver lessons suited to students’ different learning styles and levels.
- Assess progress and give constructive feedback.
- Promote a respectful, patient, and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with educators to improve curriculum and teaching methods.
- Support community events that encourage Quranic learning and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about students’ progress and achievements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or Education.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching to diverse student needs.
- Experience in education, particularly in religious or cultural settings.
- Knowledge of Quranic texts and concepts is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage.
