Job description
BILH is hiring a contract Radiologic Technologist for Interventional Radiology in Boston, Massachusetts.
Position details
- Location: Boston, MA 02215
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Pay: $3,700 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly; on-call hours do not count toward the guarantee
Role summary
Provide radiologic technology support for interventional radiology and CT procedures. Candidates must be able to work independently in IR procedure rooms and take independent call for trauma coverage. Weekend and on-call coverage are required.
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of interventional radiology experience
- Current ARRT registration in CT and Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Massachusetts radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- Vocational or technical training in radiologic technology
- Experience with CT and IR procedures, including scrub and circulator duties
- Knowledge of GE and Siemens equipment
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge, including PE and stroke procedures
- Experience with angiography procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
- Availability for day, weekend, and on-call coverage
Additional information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, except holidays.
- Interview availability and all requested time off must be provided at submission.
- Applicants who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in a travel, permanent, or per diem role within the past six months are not eligible; six months of separation is required.
