About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assess patients and perform routine radiographic procedures safely, following prescribed safety procedures and protocols. The role also serves as a clinical mentor for students and junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and safely perform routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols.
- Serve as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
- Radiologic technology experience is preferred; work experience is not required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or registry eligible and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment; temporary state license required.
- Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
