Ranch Hand

Tasks

• Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies to ensure proper health and weight gain.
• Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain.
• Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment.
• Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
• Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps.
• Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery.
• Spray fertilizer/manure on crops as fertilizer & other related Ranch Hand activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Visa required: H-2A

Schedule

• From Nov 1, 2026 to Aug 31, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $16.25 per hour
