Ranch Hand

Tasks

• Feed, care for, and maintain cattle and other farm animals, including moving and herding them to other enclosures, regular health examinations, and cleaning stalls, pens, and related equipment.
• Maintain farm land, pastures, and equipment by mowing and weed eating pastures; inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences using a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
• Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment and perform other related Ranch Hand activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

Schedule

• From Dec 1, 2026 to Apr 15, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $13.15 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
