Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist

Tasks

• Build and engage national talent pipelines for organizers, campaign professionals, researchers, and other specialized roles through creative sourcing and community networks.
• Partner with hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies, conduct candidate assessments, and manage the hiring process from sourcing through selection.
• Leverage Greenhouse, talent analytics, and recruitment reporting to strengthen hiring practices, improve processes, and support long-term workforce planning.

Requirements

• Applicants must currently reside in the Oakland or Sacramento area and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
• 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, labor organizing, advocacy, campaign staffing, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of labor organizations, worker advocacy, and social justice initiatives, with the ability to engage talent from diverse professional and community networks.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics, along with excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Greenhouse experience is highly desirable.
