Position Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 36–40 hours per week
- Pay listed in the posting: $35–$53 per hour on W-2
- Experience: 1–2 years in the specialty; at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience preferred
- Electronic medical record: Cerner
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Support patient wellness and positive outcomes through attentive, professional care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and the collaborative medical team.
- Document care using electronic medical record systems.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Texas RN license.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- BLS certification required; ACLS is a plus. The posting also lists ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience with electronic medical records; Cerner experience is relevant.
