Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join the Long-Term Care team in Victoria, British Columbia. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults within a supportive interdisciplinary care environment.
Role and Responsibilities
For Registered Nurses (RN) / Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN):
- Deliver resident-centered care using critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans
- Supervise, support, and coordinate care provided by LPNs and Resident Care Assistants (RCAs)
- Promote quality of life and well-being for residents and their families
- Act as a clinical resource for peers and healthcare team members
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, committees, and research projects
For Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN):
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor resident health status and report changes to RN/RPN
- Assist with development and updating of care plans
- Support residents with daily living activities and personal care
Compensation
Annual Salary: 65,000 CAD per year
Location
This position is based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. On-site presence is required; remote work is not eligible.
