Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Help deliver secure, reliable, & repeatable API deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

Tasks

• Provision, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure & AKS clusters.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, container image publishing, & deployments.
• Containerize API services using Docker & deploy them to AKS using Kubernetes manifests & Helm charts.

Requirements

• ONLY #W2 #CANDIDATES
• Strong experience in Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, & CI/CD automation.
• Microsoft Azure: Infrastructure provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, Azure Container Registry, Key Vault, storage accounts, VNets, subnets, & network security groups.
• Kubernetes & AKS: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, deployments, services, ingress, health probes, scaling, and cluster management.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, automated testing, artifact management, security scanning, approval gates, and rollback procedures.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Bicep, reusable modules, and version-controlled configurations.
• Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Azure CLI.
• Security & Networking: RBAC, managed identities, workload identity, Azure Key Vault, DNS, TLS certificates, load balancing, private endpoints, & Azure API Management.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, production monitoring, incident resolution, & root-cause analysis.
• Database: Azure Cosmos DB, including container creation, index maintenance, RU allocation, & data copying.
• Agile/SAFe: DevOps, value stream improvement, Release on Demand, & Continuous Delivery Pipeline practices.
