Remote Interpreter for Healthcare, Legal & Social Services — USA

LanguageBees is hiring a full-time Remote Interpreter to support communication in healthcare, legal, and social services. This fully remote position is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. Help clients and service providers understand one another during sensitive conversations by delivering accurate, clear, and culturally responsive interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret calls accurately and clearly between clients and service providers.
• Convey complex terminology in healthcare, legal, and social service settings.
• Listen actively and communicate meaning, tone, and emotional nuance faithfully.
• Adapt to different communication styles and situations while managing interpretation sessions.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations.
• Work with team members and supervisors to address challenges during interpreting sessions.
• Monitor interpretation quality and contribute feedback to support continuous improvement.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in language studies or a related field preferred.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant interpretation experience; experience in healthcare, legal, or social services is preferred.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, including native proficiency in one language.
• Understanding of interpretation ethics and best practices.
• Familiarity with standard software and tools for remote communication.
