Key Responsibilities

• Provide precise interpretation services during calls, ensuring clarity and understanding between all parties.
• Translate complex terminology accurately in healthcare, legal, and social service contexts using strong language proficiency.
• Actively listen to convey emotional nuances and ensure effective communication.
• Manage multiple interpretations and adapt to diverse communication styles and situations.
• Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity when interacting with diverse populations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve challenges during interpreting sessions.
• Monitor interpretation quality and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education in language studies or related fields preferred.
• Proven experience in interpretation services, ideally in healthcare, legal, or social service settings.
• Native proficiency in at least one language; proficiency in multiple languages preferred.
• Understanding of interpretation ethics and best practices.
• Familiarity with industry-standard remote communication software and tools.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant interpreting experience preferred.
