Verbatim standard is seeking a part-time Remote Translator based in the United States. Translate documents and other materials across English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian, preserving their original meaning and tone. This remote translation role is suited to a detail-oriented language professional interested in supporting clear cross-cultural communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate written content between languages while maintaining its meaning, tone, and context.
• Check translations for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Coordinate with team members to understand project requirements and deadlines.
• Use translation software and online collaboration tools to support efficient, high-quality work.
• Review and edit translations completed by others when needed.
• Manage multiple translation projects and meet agreed timelines.
• Communicate with clients or project managers to clarify assignments and resolve issues.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous translation experience is preferred but not required.
